The Hotel Abanico is in the historic center of Seville, just a few blocks from the Plaza Alfalfa and Plaza de Pilatos. The hotel common areas include central reception, a typical Andalusian patio, sitting area and a breakfast room. The hotel serves a daily continental breakfast buffet, and offers a free coffee shop in the afternoon. Unique, original details and decoration include stained glass windows around the patio and doorways. Free WiFi internet access is available in the common areas of the hotel.

Guest rooms are unique in layout and decoration, while original losa floors were restored in many of the guest rooms. Almost all of the rooms are located on upper floors and feature a full private bath, climate control and satellite television. On the opposite side of the large patio is the breakfast room and coffee shop. The location in the city center of Seville, is also a very popular area for nightlife, dining and tapas. The Santa Cruz quarter, Cathedral and Alcazar are within an easy walk. Only five minutes from the hotel is the pedestrian friendly shopping district and the Iglesia El Salvador, one of Seville’s largest churches.

In this section you will find some information about the surroundings of the hotel:

Monuments: This hotel is located less than one minute from the Casa de Pilatos. The Cathedral and Alcazar are about 7 to 8 minutes away (follow calle Virgenes which leads to the Santa Cruz neighborhood). On the way find calle Marmoles to see the ruins of a roman temple to Hercules.

Shopping: The hotel is just a few minutes from Plaza Alfalfa where the central pedestrian shopping district begins. There are several local shops on calle Aguila, including a supermarket and photo store.

Eat and Drink: El Peregil, a famous Sevillian flamenco singer and bar owner, has just opened another location right in front of the hotel. Or try La Alacena de San Eloy just next door. From here the Plaza Alfalfa and its numerous tapas bars and restaurants are close by.

Parking: It is possible to park your car in one of the streets close to the hotel, but please note that it is often difficult to find a free space. There are two very convenient public garage just 5-6 minutes from the accommodation on calle Escuelas Pias and calle Imagen, both which are around 18€ per day. Further away, but also convenient is the garage in the Puerta de la Carne.
