PENSION ALCAZAR

The Pensión Alcázar is located at Deán Miranda street, which is only a 1 minute walk to the Real Alcázar and the Cathedral of Seville. The house maintains the character of a Sevillian dwelling from the earlier part of the century, offering views to the Giralda from its front rooms. Although right next to these monuments it is in a very quiet and easily accessable location and guests are able to park their cars in front of the hostel.

The Pensión Alcázar offers eight rooms. The rooms on the lower floors have ceiling fans and the three top floor rooms are air-conditioned. Some of the recently renovated rooms have small ensuite bathrooms and some have a private exterior bathroom which is located in the hallway. This family run hostel in the very centre of Sevilla has spacious rooms whilst two of the rooms on the upper floors have private terraces. The rooms are nicely decorated, pleasant and spacious with typical Andalucian floors.

Breakfast: The hostel does not serve breakfast. There are several bars and cafes close to the hostel.

Payment: The following credit cards are accepted: Visa and Master Card.

Conditions/Cancellation Policy: The hostel will charge your credit card with the cost of one night per room as a guarantee for the reservation. If cancellation is made more than 10 days before the arrival date, then the cost of one night per room charged by the hostel will be refunded less a 5% processing fee. If cancellation is made less than 10 days before the arrival date (or no show), then the cost of one night per room charged by the hostel will not be refunded.

Monuments: The closest monuments to the accommodation are the Alcazar and Cathedral, less than a minute on foot. The Palacio de San Telmo and the Old Tobacco Factory (now the University of Seville), are also close by.

Shopping: The hostel is located in the Barrio Santa Cruz, and the immediate area is mainly tourist shops. More variety can be found on the Avda. De Constitucion, which leads to Plaza Nueva and the pedestrian shopping streets of Sierpes and Tetuan.

Eat and Drink: On Calle Mateos Gago there are many tapas bars and restaurants to choose from. The Bar Rayuelas on calle Miguel de Mañara is very popular for its breakfast. Nearby also try Bar Casablanca (just off Avda. Constitucion).

Parking: It is possible to park your car in front of the hostel for free or in the next public garage, which is 10 minutes from the hostal on Paseo de Cristóbal Colón and costs around 13€ per day.
