Hostal Pensión Bienvenido’s location on a quiet pedestrian street is ideal for exploring the historic center of Seville. The location is within the Puerta de la Carne in the Juderia, the former Jewish neighborhood of Seville. The hostel is close to a number of small hostals and inns. The building was once part of the complex of the Santa Maria la Blanca church. The pensión has plenty of natural light from exterior windows on both sides, as well as the large sets of windows which line the interior patio.

Guests enter the first floor reception from calle Archeros and are welcomed by a small waiting area with chairs. Just next to reception are the stairs leading to the many higher floor rooms as well as the hostal’s roof terrace. The main hallways lead to the 1st floor rooms, and the French windows which border them serve as a source of natural light the interior patio. The large roof terrace features plenty of space to sit and is ideal for relaxing in the afternoon. A smaller terrace at the back has views of several nearby churches and the neighborhood. Most rooms in the Pensión Bienvenido have high ceilings, and the style of most of the rooms are not often found in this type of budget accommodation. All rooms are on upper floors with windows to the exterior or interior patios, and include a wash basin.

Monuments: The closest monuments to the hostal are the Cathedral, Alcazar and Archivo de Indias. The Murillo Gardens offer a nice park with trees and a playground, and is just 2 minutes away.

Shopping: The immediate area has mainly tourist shops. The central shopping district (Calle Sierpes, Tetuan, Plaza Nueva) is located about 10 minutes away. On Avda. Menendez Pelayo (two blocks from the hostal), there are also many local shops.

Eat and Drink: On calle Santa Maria La Blanca (approx. 10 meters from the hostel) you will find many cafes and restaurants. There are many Spanish and international (Italian, Japanese) restaurants in this area.

Parking: It is very difficult to park your car in the street close to the hostal. The closest public garage is about 2 minutes from the accommodation in Puerta de la Carne and costs around 18€ per day.
